Hi, I’m Leslie.
I’m passionate about men and women working together effectively to create a more successful and fulfilling work environment.
My career has taken many turns, and my true north has always been partnering with women, empowering them to leap forward in their career trajectory while retaining balance in their lives.
As a certified professional leadership development coach, my end-goal is to improve the financial performance and positive impact of organizations through a proprietary approach I call “Men + Women = Better Businesstm.” I seek to break the glass ceiling for women by enlisting and supporting men, who are critical to the effort, simultaneously improving leadership abilities and mindset at all management and leadership levels of the organization.
I have extensive experience in the financial services industry, from my start as a commercial lender to my most recent corporate role as the Chief Learning Officer for the commercial division of a top ten U.S. banking firm. Having built and led large teams and development programs throughout my career, I am an experienced leader, mentor, trainer and coach. I’ve worked in diverse environments, from a small community bank with just 30 people, to Fortune 100 firms, to over thirteen years of independent business ownership.
I earned my M.S. in Instructional and Performance Technology from Boise State University and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. My coaching skills have been certified by both the Coaches Training Institute (CPCC) and the International Coaching Federation (PCC). I currently serve as the President for the International Coach Federation Charlotte Area Chapter.
I personally live the same coaching and consulting philosophy that I leverage with my clients, which is to continuously learn and improve, stretch my comfort zone and bravely take calculated risks in pursuit of even more fulfillment, all balanced with the fun and joy of my husband, daughter, German Shepherd and great friends in Charlotte, North Carolina.
